What’s My Approach?

I’m there to document genuine moments as they naturally happen. For the majority of the day, I will integrate into your family almost like I'm your sister or friend, focusing 100% on telling your wedding story in an intimate way. You won’t find me asking your friends to recreate moments, but you will find me ready to capture those moments before they even happen.  
During portraits, it’s a little different. I give plenty of direction, working to bring creative ideas and new photography techniques to make images that are unique. Though I do direct during portraits my intentions are to capture candid moments to give you honest, natural photos.
My goal at every wedding is to take a combination of creative photojournalistic moments while also capturing those traditional photos for "Mom & Dad". If that’s something that excites you, we’ll be a perfect fit.

What are the deliverables?

You get all the edited files in high resolution JPEG format. Easily downloadable with no watermarks via an online gallery. Take a look at the full sample galleries below to get an idea about what those look like.

Do I need an engagement session?
These sessions are about celebrating your love and life together, but also it's a chance to "unlearn" how you've previously taken photos up until now.  It’s important that we get to know each other before your wedding day.  Who blinks a lot?  Who is the funny person?  Knowing this stuff before your wedding day can make things go a lot smoother!

How do you know what photos I want taken? 

6 Weeks before your wedding you’ll receive a questionnaire that asks everything I need to know about your wedding plans and the event details. Included is a section to list what groupings for family photos you would like to have taken.

Will you help me with the wedding day schedule?

Absolutely!  I always love weddings that have coordinators that help create a smooth wedding schedule, but when that’s not possible I’m happy to help. I can help you figure out how much time to plan for your photos and other events of the day from my professional experience.

What are the costs for travel?

Travel costs only apply with locations that require a flight or more than 2 hour drive from 45409. They will be customized depending on the specifics of your location, however it’s generally 2 nights hotel and round trip flight out of DAY airport.

What’s the deposit?

$1000 non refundable deposit to reserve the date. I have a policy of booking with whoever first submits their contract and pays the retainer for an inquired date. 

How do we book?

After we’ve talked about which package works best for your wedding I’ll send along a formal proposal with the contract and payment information via email.

ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS

Engagement sessions are incredible helpful to prepare for your wedding day.  It's a chance to unlearn how you've previously had your photo taken, get to know me so you are comfortable, and know what to expect on your wedding day. An engagement session perfectly compliments your wedding day photographs and lets you both relax a bit in your everyday attire. This session includes 2 locations and 2 outfits.
$300 wedding add-on | $500 á la carte

Additional Hours

Generally most weddings can be photographed in 9-10 hours of coverage.  If you are having a smaller event ask me about my hourly a rate.  Or if you need an extended wedding day we can add on time.  In my experience 95% of american weddings can be fully captured in 9 hours.

If you are having a unique event that requires time over 9 hours then please let me know.  Often for Hindu or Muslim events I create custom packages to specifically fit your needs. 
 

Wedding Albums

I offer fantastic handmade custom wedding albums.  Options include handmade papers, leathers, custom cloths and hand stitched binding.
