A few weeks ago I got to take a road trip to photograph the Najamuddin Family at their new home near Chicago. They have been building their forever home for several years and are so happy it's finally complete! After photographing their wedding 5 years ago, I was so ecstatic that they asked me to drive 5 hours to capture images of their 6 Month old baby girl Aria. She is the most lovely little girl!
I'm so happy that this little guy was born. His parents were an adorable wedding couple I photographed several years ago. As you might now, that's what I get the most joy out of- photographing my wedding clients children.
They came into the studio a few weeks ago and Cole slept like an angel even though he was almost a month old! I'm so impressed!
I'm starting to learn that one of the biggest joys I can have as a photographer is to see my couples live their lives after their weddings. If they decide to have children, I get to see how their lives are shaped by these new tiny creatures. It's incredibly fulfilling to see how much love two people can generate. Laena & Vail are no exception.
Every time I have had the opportunity to photograph this family we incorporate part of their Hawaiian heritage into the photographs. It is a fantastic way to bring more meaning to images. Their little boy is Ikaika, but I call him Iki! He is a bundle of joy I have never ever seen with the one exception of my own overly happy child.
