Melissa & Pete just plain ROCK! Hip, fun, up for anything! They seemed to get super excited when I said "hey, how about we go to a freeway underpass and take some photos?" Basically they are my DREAM couple! So their photos included the abandoned local GM Factory, Train Tracks, a Freeway Underpass, and the hip Oregon District in Downtown Dayton. I want to photograph them every day forever...
From the moment Lisa stepped into my consultation room, I knew we were meant to be! She is a soft spoken creative woman with a huge kind heart. I knew that whomever she decided to spend her life with would be equally amazing and he was! Rick is a engineer brained gentle soul, who is just perfect! We wanted to make their engagement session something special. Lisa's father owns this "fixer upper" vehicle that hasn't been driven since the 1960's. We rolled it out of the garage and got this couple all dolled up for a fashionable vintage styled session. Wonderful Hair and Makeup is by Pinned Up.
Every wedding I photograph includes a complimentary engagement session. This helps me get to know my couples before the wedding day. How do they move together? Who makes funny and weird faces? Who blinks a lot?
I was super excited when Joanna asked me to do a family session for her and her fiancee Keon instead of a traditional engagement session. When Joanna and Keon met he already had a beautiful daughter named Kennedy. Joanna wanted more than anything to photograph them as a new family- She is super close with Kennedy and it was more important to her than just photos with her future husband. So we set out only a few days before the wedding and captured these three who are becoming a family!
As a Columbus, Ohio native I should have attended dozens of Ohio State Football Games growing up.... but alas this is not the case. So it was a thrill to finally enter the stadium of one of the best College Football Teams of all time. My wonderful couple Erica & Nick were just as in awe of this stupendous opportunity to take their engagement photos on the field where the OSU Football team has crushed their competition year after year! We were allowed in for a 60 minute whirlwind session. Check it out!
