This is one of my favorite weddings from 2017, everyone say "O-H-I-O!"! When I met Makayla & Paul I knew their day would be beautiful and full of love. Their big day was held at Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, Ohio. It's a wonderful Victorian style conservatory surrounded by gardens so they opted for an ALL OUTDOOR EVENT! Their beautiful ceremony was held at sunset with Makayla's baby sister as their flower girl. The most exciting moment of the day was when Brutus the Buckeye (the Ohio State Football Mascot) made a surprise appearance. All of the guest danced and were invited to get individual images with him.

This rustic, awe-inspiring, vintage style barn wedding took place at Polen Farm in Kettering Ohio, which featured details that were nature-inspired with a dash of homespun décor. The rustic barn venue offered very homey and fresh feeling for their celebration.

Sarah & Matt made it official under a gazebo outside on the property grounds, which provided for a very intimate ceremony. The guest gifts were wooden fans to help with the hot weather of a summer wedding and since an open barn reception lacks an air conditioner.

They had a really cool and interesting guest book that was one huge blank white puzzle were all guests signed their own piece. And the bride’s very emotional and sweet father gifted them a bottle of Don Perignon that was to be opened on their 1 year anniversary.

The décor of the event was simple and a bit of DIY which complimented the overall rustic and vintage feel of the event.
