Jessica & Ty

I photographed Jessica & Ty's wedding in 2011 and it's possibly my favorite wedding of-all-time!  So I'm revisiting it!  It was even featured on Rock 'n Roll Bride!!!  I hope this helps inspire all my amazing offbeat brides!  Some of the highlights include 1000 hand-folded paper cranes used as the couples backdrop (they folded them all!), First Dance Lighters, "Dance Machine" sweat bands, Cotton Candy & Nacho late night food, Chips n' Salsa Groom's Cake, Belly Dance Performance, Gift Bamboo with lottery tickets, Custom Designed Signs and labels for everything you can imagine.  Jessica & Ty's little boy Kingston was one of the highlights for me-  he wandered EVERYWHERE!  Including in the middle of the Garter Toss!  So funny!

Check it out on Rock 'n Roll Bride!

Laura & Gregg Wedding

Laura & Gregg's classic modern wedding was held at the Schuster Center in downtown Dayton, Ohio and incorporated the couples world traveling spirit.  They are a super funny, carefree couple that I didn't get to meet until their wedding day!  That doesn't happen much to me so I wasn't sure what to expect.

They did an exceptional job incorporating sophisticated style into their modern venue. On each table they featured a favorite place they have traveled.  Check out their luggage tags escort cards!  Instead of cake they had an assortment of Graeter's Ice Cream flavors-  this is an Ohio favorite!

Bobbi & Andy Wedding

When it came time for these college cuties to tie the knot, they wanted to throw one glamorous affair.  Bobbi and Andy live in downtown Cincinnati and love the city life. However, they opted for a venue that sits in the heart of downtown Dayton because it is close to their alma mater; the University of Dayton. This couple actually met at University of Dayton and was married at the Catholic Church on campus called Holy Angels. So with that said the locations for majority of the images were on their old stomping ground/UD campus.   We traveled to some of their favorite spots. For example, photos were taken in the coffee shop were they worked and first met. We even ventured down to the Ghetto (aka UD’s housing neighborhood) and took some iconic pictures in front of their former campus houses, and of course as former UD grads they included the old spray paint signs done on a plain white sheet, which is a tradition that UD students all know and love.  In the true spirit of their love of Dayton or maybe just coincidence, her maid of honor is the current Mayor of Dayton.

The main design was based on their style of art deco metropolitan feel and was accented by the color of a deep purple. The venue of the Schuster Center and Performing Arts Center was a perfect mix of contemporary yet still had a feel of the theater aspect. Their centerpieces featured vases of free standing purple flowers and also included photos of them at the age of the table number. So table 8 was photos of them at age 8 and so on. Their guest book was a large print from their wedding invitation and a mat with places for people to sign.  The guest gifts were pack of cards, and one table of college friends got into a serious betting card game. They mixed things up a bit and served no cake but instead did a Graeters ice cream bar.

This wedding and all its glory was featured on Midwest Bride blog.  GO UD FLYERS!!!
